Looking back at this lovely Armenian-American wedding at the Saint Sarkis church in Dearborn, Michigan, just simply brings tears to my eyes. Not only was the church amazingly beautiful inside, but they also had one of the most ornate wedding ceremonies I have ever witnessed. The Armenian people are quite charming, witty, beautiful, and very friendly. (I know this from experience from photographing this wedding, as well as from my husband’s family. He too, is Armenian.) This ceremony took place between an Armenian woman and her husband, who was American, but was adopted into the Armenian culture by his new Armenian family and church.
