Today we want to share the next months’ progress for little Spencer. It’s hard to believe that in just a few short weeks, he will be an entire year old! We have had the ultimate pleasure of photographing his progress each month, and it has truly been a heartwarming experience. This session, Spencer wasn’t in the best mood for portraits, but we captured a few great photos to be sure. Check them out below!
A few months back, Jeff and I offered an Engagement Session Giveaway. Little did we know, it would change our lives for the better. How you ask? Well, because of that giveaway, we were able to meet Jamie and Matt – two amazing people with a strong love for each other and all they’ve accomplished throughout life together. (Jamie is an Elementary School Teacher, and Matt is a Mechanical Engineer.) Jamie entered our giveaway, and told us a lot about their relationship, and I simply knew right away, that we had to meet them! After meeting with them to discuss the details of the Engagement Session Giveaway, and to plan out their Engagement Session, Jeff and I quickly realized that we were connecting with Jamie and Matt on a much deeper level than some of our past clients. We simply knew that this adorable couple seated across from us, would become one of our favorites to work with. After learning more about them, we decided to mention that we would love to do an Engagement Session in front of the natural stunning waterfalls, found in Munising, Michigan. They quickly agreed that the idea was an amazing idea, and that we should move forward with this dreamy and romantic plan. A little more than a week ago, Jeff and I had the great pleasure of capturing our cousin’s engagement portraits in the beautiful scenery of Belle Isle and Downtown Detroit. We first got to know them better at a coffee shop a few weeks prior, as we planned out their engagement photos. We learned that Anthony loves Captain America and that Rebecca simply enjoys spending time with Anthony. They are truly an adorable couple and we wish them all the best! Spencer is growing up so very fast! This was his 10 month session, and soon, we will be photographing his 11 month session! Not having children of our own, we never truly realized just how fast children grow, especially within the first year. We have been extremely blessed with the opportunity Spencer’s parents have bestowed upon us, to watch their precious baby boy grow from month to month. If you’ve been wondering why this handsome fella is featured on our blog so much… Well, that’s because, for the last 9 months we have had the pleasure of visiting him on a monthly basis to capture his growth. It’s hard to believe that it is so quickly approaching his first birthday. We’re sure going to miss our monthly visits once he arrives at one year of age. One thing I’ll say though, it really is amazing how fast he is growing and learning! Take a look at the portraits below and you’ll see that Spencer is turning out to be quite the handsome young gentleman! He was quite active and smiley for this particular lifestyle session. Though, he typically is all smiles though (except for month 8 lol), especially as he gets older and responds more to our silly faces and the sound of his mother’s voice.
