As much as we want everything to go exactly as planned on your wedding day, sometimes life has other plans for us all, and having this Wedding Survival Kit will help ensure that you are ready for whatever life wants to throw your way! We highly recommend packing your Wedding Survival Kit a week before your wedding, and storing it along with your dress until the day of, so you won’t forget to bring it along for the ride. What is a First Look and Why You Should Have One
Hello everyone! We have been photographing weddings ever since we started our photography business, five years ago now, and we have to tell you exactly why you should consider having a First Look at your wedding. (I know we touched on Why You Need a First Look before, but this is majorly important, and we wanted to further elaborate.) You see, if I were to be 100% honest with you (and I will be), any of our weddings that have had a First Look have gone 1000 times smoother than the weddings without a First look. And we have photographed quite a few weddings now. So, let’s look at what exactly a First Look is, and why you should have one at your own wedding!
Why Wedding Details Can Make or Break Your Wedding Album
We are sure that the very first thing you picture in your mind when thinking about weddings, is the bride and groom, right? A couple who is madly in love with one another, their day and faces filled with happy tears, laughter, dancing, and romance.
We are sure that one of the last things you think of, while picturing a wedding, are the table settings, bridal bouquets, the flowers lining the aisle, the secret pin that grandma gave the bride, and other small details, right?
Well, we are writing this blog post to inform you, that those small, and seemingly insignificant wedding details, can make or break your wedding album!
So let us be the first to tell you – Wedding Details are Important!

A little more than a week ago, Jeff and I had the great pleasure of capturing our cousin’s engagement portraits in the beautiful scenery of Belle Isle and Downtown Detroit. We first got to know them better at a coffee shop a few weeks prior, as we planned out their engagement photos. We learned that Anthony loves Captain America and that Rebecca simply enjoys spending time with Anthony. They are truly an adorable couple and we wish them all the best! Read on below to see the artistic portraits from this amazing engagement session!
