Spencer’s 9 Month Old Session

If you’ve been wondering why this handsome fella is featured on our blog so much… Well, that’s because, for the last 9 months we have had the pleasure of visiting him on a monthly basis to capture his growth. It’s hard to believe that it is so quickly approaching his first birthday. We’re sure going to miss our monthly visits once he arrives at one year of age. One thing I’ll say though, it really is amazing how fast he is growing and learning! Take a look at the portraits below and you’ll see that Spencer is turning out to be quite the handsome young gentleman! He was quite active and smiley for this particular lifestyle session. Though, he typically is all smiles though (except for month 8 lol), especially as he gets older and responds more to our silly faces and the sound of his mother’s voice.

Family Portrait Session at the Henry Ford Museum

A couple of weeks back, we had the pleasure of photographing this adorable family at the ever popular, Henry Ford Museum. Normally, we photograph their little girls every six months, and we have been photographing their newest addition every month for the last eight months. But this time, at the behest of the husband, we turned this sister’s session, into a full family portrait session. Please enjoy a small sampling of the photos we were able to capture below! Spencer’s 8 Month Session – Lifestyle Portraits

Today I want to share with you a beautiful session we had recently of the adorable little spencer. We have had the great pleasure of photographing this little cutie each month of his life, and today we’re sharing his 8 month session. These sessions are always held in his lovely home with his mother at hand, helping him to smile and laugh for the camera. This session, he was a little cranky, so we didn’t get as many of those stunning smiles he usually gives us, but we still think that this session turned out fantastically. Winter Engagement and Family Portrait Session

Stevie and Dylan met up with us at the Lake Erie Metropark on a warm winter afternoon for their winter engagement session. At least, it was relatively warm, considering the rest of the week was nearly in the single digits… This park was very special to them. And, the date that we captured these amazing portraits, was also the day (a year prior) when Dylan popped the question!!! Awwww, we loved it!!! So, we not only had the snow that Stevie was hoping for, but we also had their special park, and the anniversary of the date that Dylan proposed! And as an added bonus… We stopped by a Christmas Tree stand after the park for a few unique portraits there too! We couldn’t have asked for better clients, a better day, or anything else. It was truly perfect.

An April Fool’s (Wedding) Day Like No Other!

So, how did you spend your April Fool’s day? We hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful day as much as we did! Jessica and I were honored to be the wedding photographers for a touching wedding in Monroe Michigan. If you’re from Michigan, you know that we haven’t exactly seen much of the sun in the last few months. In fact, it has been a running joke during this time between myself and Jessica saying something along the lines of “When did we move to Seattle?!” I mean, we literally had a whopping two whole days of sunshine in January! You might understand these two photographers’ concern then, as our most recent wedding approached… would the weather give us the new norm? Turns out, God would smile brightly on this wonderful couple last Saturday and give them the most beautiful sunny (and moderately warm) day imaginable! Yes! I do believe in miracles!
