One of our engagement sessions required us to take a trip to Flint, Michigan. And while Flint gets a stereotypical “bad city” reputation, we are pleased to share the beauty that this amazing little park held. Don’t believe us? Take a peek at the rest of the post below!
It was a hot day when we went to the beautiful Stepping Stones Park in Flint, MI. Hot, and calling for rain and thunderstorms. However, we were lucky enough to avoid the rain and thunderstorms during our Engagement Shoot with this gorgeous couple, and the clouds were adding a great element to the photos as well. While battling bugs (oops, we forgot bug spray!) and heat, we walked through this little park in awe. We listened while our clients explained how the proposal happened here, and started taking some photos right where he proposed to her.
After having fun with some of these photos, we set to walk the trail around the river. We talked, laughed and thoroughly had a fun time. We stopped on a few bridges and some stairs for photos, and even found some cool spots where the trees thinned out for some more shots with a little more sky. Wow, what a beautiful park! We are eager to photograph another couple here again sometime in the future, because there is so much at this park to offer. We will be photographing the wedding of this stunning couple in the future, and we know from this photo shoot, that they will be a great and fun couple to photograph!
We hope you enjoy these images. If you’ve got a wedding planned at any venue, we’d love to show you what we can do for you!
